Visitor Experience Manager

£21,027 per annum, pro rata
32.37 hours per week (Week 1: 4 days, Week 2: 3 days)
The shift patterns include working Saturday and Sunday each week

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art has exhibited the work of over 460 different international artists, received over 8 million visitors through the door since opening and welcomed 262,238 participants in learning activities last year alone.

We are recruiting for a Visitor Experience Manager to join our Learning and Civic Engagement Team by providing support to the Head of Visitor Experience. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the front-of-house team (BALTIC Crew) to ensure the successful performance of gallery operations and the delivery of an optimum level of visitor experience.

The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience in a team management role and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. We’re looking for someone with a demonstrable commitment to delivering the highest standard of visitor experience with excellent management and organisational skills. An appreciation for contemporary art would also be an advantage.
