The Experimental Studio is where most of BXNU’s screenings, talks, symposia, performances and short-term exhibition projects takes place. Located on the ground floor of BALTIC 39, High Bridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne, the BxNU Experimental Studio facilitates:
- A programme of public events organised by Andrea Phillips and colleagues
- A location for NU students and staff to try out ideas
- A bookable space for associates who want to hold discussions or try out artistic and curatorial ideas over a short timeframe
The BxNU Experimental Studio is equipped with two ceiling-mounted projectors, audio equipment, chairs and tables, blackout curtains and a mobile partition for flexible subdivision. It is open from 10.00-18.00 each day and later in the evening for programmed events, see BxNU Institute Events.
Priority for BxNU Experimental Studio use is given to the public programme and for faculty and student use, however if you are interested in either suggesting ideas for the programme or using the studio please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
