Once a month BALTIC artists visit children’s centres across Gateshead to explore contemporary art, play and creativity with families and children under 5.
BALTIC worked in collaboration with The Comfrey Project to produce Making Connections, an exhibition of work by refugees and asylum seekers.
Every Saturday Meet & Make, BALTIC’s weekly creative activity for families, visits libraries, children’s centres and local community venues across Gateshead.
BALTIC teamed up with Crisis, the national charity for homeless people, to produce a project called Animated Stories.
Throughout August 2017 BALTIC artists and educators visited local venues to celebrate BALTIC Artist Award.
